Chinese New Year of  the Sheep 2015

Chinese New Year falls on the NEW MOON @29 Aquarius
L.A. – Wednesday – 3:47 pm
NEW YORK – Wednesday – 6:47 pm
LONDON – Wednesday – 11:47 pm
SYDNEY – Thursday – 10:47 am

From Kim Falconer’s 11th House Blog

February 18/19th is Chinese New Year, the first new moon after the Solstice where the Chinese animal sign changes from Horse to the Sheep. Think “mare to ewe’ as all the Chinese animals are female. This is not the fiery ram of Aries in the Western Zodiac.

As the year of the Green Sheep begins, we enter a slower paced, more relaxed and introspective year. It’s a reflective, sensitive energy that brings plenty of opportunity to tune into feelings and leverage them for our own growth and awareness.

Below are the Astro-LOA sign by sign tips. Remember, if you are a Capricorn or Aquarius by the Western Zodiac, check your sign as Chinese New Year begins at a different time each year.

Rat: 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008

The Year of the Sheep is a subtle relief for Rat after the hustle and bustle of 2014 Horse, but you have to dial back a bit to enjoy it. This is the perfect time to re-think ideas, goals and desires for the future and launch them with a renewed and steady enthusiasm. And know, you have what it takes to Knock Their Socks Off as you pitch new projects or apply for a new job. This is a year to discover what you really want when if comes to relationship as well. Prepare to be surprised.

Ox: 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009

The year of the Sheep can bring contrast, challenging you to rise to the occasion and expand your awareness. The key is in knowing Life Is Good, no matter what is happening in the outer environment. This is your training ground, and when you’re asked to “give ‘em 20″ you’ll find yourself fitter and stronger than you first imagined. Confidence is up, because of this, you’re more empowered, vital and alluring. Travel or moving house brings spectacular results!

Tiger: 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010

In the year of the Sheep, Tiger can feel like there are too many choices that must be made, yesterday. Remember, sheep says relax and find some peace and ease. No need to chase your tail. If you don’t know what to do, trust there will be plenty of time to gain clarity. Romance shines a light as the year warms up so think about activating a Feeling Sexy vibration, of you’ve been to busy with other things. Look after the body with plenty of exercise too!

Rabbit: 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011

In the year of the Sheep, Rabbit will enjoy a more steady pace compared to the whirl of last year. You’ll also be in line for high success, so think about activating an “it’s Happening!” vibration. You don’t want your own reticence to hold you back. This is also a wonderful time for romance with a view to long-term partnership so reflect a bit on what your idea partnership looks like. You’re extra alluring now, and that amps your ability to attract money and finances as well. Awesome!

Dragon: 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012

In the year of the Sheep, Dragon has a burst of creative inspiration. It just pours out. The only hitch might be if you aren’t sure of your path, your purpose in life. If you’re shaky there, not to worry. This is a year for clarity and successful forward motion, though you don’t want to ‘push’ or try and make it happen. You want to relax. The greatest benefits are holidays, meditation, exercise and fitness and a good health regime. Activate the vibe of ‘Dream Vacation‘ for best results.

Snake: 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013

The year of the Sheep can mean snake is on the move. That’s home, business or relationships, you decide. The key is to be flexible, holding ideas lightly – basically Lightening Up. There could be resistance to the changes, great or small, and we know where that leads – to more of what is undesired. So relax, embrace and allow. This can be your Year of the Manfester, a time when thoughts become things at the speed of light. Are you ready to receive?

Horse: 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014

In the year of the Sheep, Horse finds her feet. Whatever hopes you had last year that have yet to materialize, they are rolling in steady now. 2015 is supportive right across the board – Self, relationship, creativity, career, family, health, finances. Basically, the good times really do roll in. You want to pre-pave for that because the freer your vibe, the more expansive the results. Single horses might want to activate New Love Interest. Committed, Get What You Want.

Sheep: 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015

Year of the Sheep brings some interesting contrast if you aren’t setting authentic goals and loving your life right here and now. Think of it as a year of self-discovery, and you might be somewhat surprised! First up, don’t be discouraged if Reality Disagrees with What You Want. It’s a temporary state of affairs. Any feelings of jealousy or competitiveness are only signs of something that is very important to you. Take the information and relax. Allow. Grass roots = Activate Health!

Monkey: 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016

The year of the Sheep holds as much promise for Monkey as you could ever want, but the kick off is a little shaky. Don’t let that stop you! Pre-pave your desired results by troubleshooting your efforts and un-kinking your vibe. It’s all about relaxing, allowing and floating downstream with peace and ease. If you are going at it tooth and nail, take a beat to re-think. The first few months of the year could lack momentum and clarity. That’s okay as it picks up. Make Peace with the Unknown.

Rooster: 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017

The year of the Sheep is going to be fabulous for Rooster, especially in career and creative projects. You’ll want to pitch new ideas and projects with your whole heart, Activating Thriving Business and Filled Up/Sold Out. Business partnership are solid and lead to financial success. For personal relationships, you’ll want to have a clear idea of what you really want. It might be different than you imagined. Health increases with more attention of nutrition.

Dog: 1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006

The year of the Sheep brings Dog a new career vibe full of enthusiasm, opportunity a creative advancement. The only hitch is the actual financial backing might be a little slower to arrive than hoped. You can help this along by Activating Money in the Bank. But not all your energy needs to be focused on work. Dog benefits by getting out and playing, afirming that Life is Good. Make sure plenty of exercise and good nutrition is part of the daily routine. You thrive out in nature!

Pig: 1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007

The year of the Sheep brings dazzling romance to the single Pigs and a renewed delight to committed ones. All across the board, think Great Relationships. Career and finances are also looking up. The only area that might be neglected, because you’re so busy swooning in romantic bliss and raking in the money from your fabulous career, is your health. Be sure to Activate a Healthy Body, and enjoy good strong exercise and nutrition (as prescribe by your health care practitioner).

Happy Chinese New Year, of the Green Sheep, everyone.

Make it your best yet!
