When photographer Andrew Sooby was at the Tweed Regional Art Gallery recently, the moody weather prompted him to catch this atmospheric shot of Wollumbin, (Mount Warning) near Murwillumbah.  “The storm was out there,” says Sooby, “and it was a perfect moment to capture it.”

Andrew Sooby used a Fuji XE2; lens at 300mm (35mm equiv); 1/1600 sec; f11; ISO 200.

Film and Television Production Designer Ross Wallace took this photograph of Wollumbin, or Mount Warning, on the boundary of Tweed shire and Kyogle shire on the Kyogle Murwillumbah road.  “I took the photo just near my place at Lillian Rock,” Wallace says.  “It’s on the scenic drive home from the airport and a place that I always top and appreciate the beauty of my home in the Northern Rivers. I fell in love with the mountain and this is why I moved from my first Northern Rivers home in Federal to Lillian Rock.”
