Asa Chegwyn, Byron Bay’s local Skull Candy importer, secretary of the Brunswick Valley Pony Club, and dog-lover, snapped this photo of her four dogs on her daughter’s iPhone.  “I love the fact that the dogs look as if they’re lying on snow,” she says.  “In fact it’s actually sand for making cement.  I’m not sure why they wanted to lie on it, but it was a hot day and perhaps it was cool!  My daughter Amber and I thought the ‘circle’ of dogs was very touching.”  The dogs, from top far left are Indie, a 12-year-old Greyhound/Ridgeback cross; Bill a ten-year-old Ridgeback; Tassie, a four-year-old Staffy with more than a smidge of  boxer, and in the middle Heidi, a six-year-old Dachsund.
