“It’s not the best technical shot I’ve ever taken,” says Verandah Magazine publisher Candida Baker, “but I chanced across this photo when I was cleaning up some files and thought I’d share it.  I took the picture in Devon, near my sister’s house at Kingsbridge – and for obvious reasons I loved it.  Plus it’s a lovely reminder to always ‘live in hope’.”
